Creativity & Minor Games for Junior Classes
Arya Vidyapeeth provides the joyful learning environment for its pupils, where individuals are actively engaged and excided motivation, knowledge retention and lifelong love for learning. Flying disk, Hulla hoop, Rubber Ring, Skipping Ropes, Carrom Board, Balancing Beam, Balloon Tennis, Three Legged Race, Touch and Feel Box, Dice Games and other creative activities play an important role to interest of students in school.
Inter- House Games:
The school offers the sports facilities to take part in various sports activities. The coaching and training in various sports discipline is imported by the sports teachers of AVP. They allow the use of its ground to conduct practice matches with other school teams to improve the quality of sports and to create interest in various sports events. The school has held several of inter-house games and competition, like Volleyball, Football, Softball, Baseball, Cricket, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Athletics.
Participation in Block, District & State Level
Our school students have gone to block, district and state level games. Where they have achieved success by showing their high performance. They have brightened their school name due to the desire for maximum participation has arisen inside the children, their confidence has increased.
At block, District, State & National level every year approximate 80-90, 60-70, 50-60 & 02-05 respectively. Thus, they are trying to brighten the name of not only their school but their parents also.
Sahodaya School Games
The students of our school have also taken part in Sahodaya School Complex Games, every year. Not only the students are taking part but also trying to achieve the best position. Because of consequences of their efforts, our school has got second position in the academic session 2024-25 in Volleyball.
Annual Sports Meet
Annual sports competitions are organized every year in the school. In this, separate sports competitions are kept for junior and senior classes. Children participate extensively in these sports competitions and show their excessive performance in every field. In every competition, participated players are honored according to their level.
Exhibitions & Functions
School functions are an integral part of school curriculum. Several functions are held by Arya Vidyapeeth every year. These functions include Annual Prize Distribution, Annual Sports Day, Investiture Ceremony, Haryali Teej, Janamstami, Diwali Celebration, Republic Day, Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, Quiz Contest, School Exhibitions etc. School exhibition unfolds the potential of students. It helps the students to imbibe the value of hard work and unleash their own creativity. The spirit of ’I can do’ channelizes one’s energy and helps one to set a goal in life. The school appears as a colourful mini -museum conceiving all sorts of varieties in itself. These school functions manifest practical implication of knowledge and provide a suitable platform to the students to prove their latent talents.
House System
The School has divided into four parts for maintaining better discipline, named: (1) Rigveda (2) Yajurveda (3) Samaveda (4) Atharvaveda.
The house system is to develop the qualities of leadership, public speaking and organizational skills of the students through various inter-house competitions and other functions. Every student belongs to each house performing his/her role very well mannered in every field. Each house has separate House Captain, Vice House captain, Duty captain, Cultural Captain, Sports Captain and discipline Captain. Each House has been assigned to the In-Charge and Vice In-Charge to operate smoothly so that discipline can be maintained. Every in -charge handles his charge with full honesty and integrity.
PEM (Parent Educator Meet)
Parents and teachers are the two most important figures in the life of a kid. So, there is also a bigger importance of parent-teacher meetings in school. It plays an integral role in shaping the child’s educational journey. Constant communication between them also helps in the child’s personal growth and overall well-being. Therefore, parent-teacher meetings are essential and it is one of the many factors that lay a stronger foundation for the kid to freely grow and develop. AVP arranges the PEM at quarterly in the academic year.
Tour & Picnic
School picnics give kids direct experiences in a laid-back setting, extending learning outside the classroom. Trips to historical sites, natural areas, or science-related locations can improve academic comprehension by providing real-world experience.
Picnics provide students a day of leisure and stress alleviation, a break from the usual academic schedule. Recreational activities and time spent outside enhance general well-being.
